About UCAM Alumni

About UCAM Alumni

The Cátedra de Cultura Empresarial is an initiative of the Universitat de València aimed at promoting entrepreneurial spirit and bridging the academic world with the business environment. Through training, events, content, and activities, it drives the professional development of students and maintains the bond with its Alumni community, connecting them with companies, professionals, and real opportunities in the business ecosystem.

The Challenge

The Challenge

1. Dispersed and Difficult-to-Manage Information

Alumni data was spread across multiple tools: forms, spreadsheets, newsletters, and independent platforms, making it difficult to find and segment the information.

2. Lack of a Unified Database

There was no centralized system that allowed for a clear view of the community or working with structured data.

3. Excessive Manual Work and Duplications

Daily management involved reviewing multiple spreadsheets and tools, resulting in wasted time, errors, and duplication of information.

4. Lack of Traceability and Strategic Vision

It was difficult to measure participation, identify active profiles, or make decisions based on real data.

5. Need to Scale the Community

The rapid growth in the number of alumni made it essential to professionalize management in order to continue growing in an orderly manner.

The Solution

Feending has been incorporated as the central platform to group and structure the Alumni community in a single digital space.

La Cátedra started using Feending to:

  • Centralize communication with current and former students.

  • Create and disseminate events that encourage participation and interaction.

  • Organize content clearly and accessibly, including formats like podcasts.

  • Offer a history of past events to provide context and value to new users.

All of this from a flexible web app, designed to grow progressively and adapt to the pace and needs of an academic institution.

Thanks to this, they can now:

  • Centralize all community information in one single space.

  • Better segment members by profile, interests, and background.

  • Manage events in a more organized and efficient manner.

  • Improve communication with more personalized actions.

  • Have a global and updated view of the community.

The platform not only addressed an operational need, but it also helped to structure management from a community logic, not just a database one.

The Solution

With the growth of the community, UCAM Alumni understood that it needed a centralized tool specifically designed to manage communities in a professional and scalable manner.

Feending allowed to unify in a single platform the database, alumni registration, segmentation, communication, and activity tracking.

Thanks to this, they can now:

  • Centralize all community information in one single space.

  • Better segment members by profile, interests, and background.

  • Manage events in a more organized and efficient manner.

"For the first time we have all the information in one place, with community structure and logic, not just a database.

We have transitioned from reactive and operational management to strategic and data-driven management. Now we can plan more accurately and measure real results."
